How did the band come together? How have you grown since you guys started?
We came together late in 2009.  Marshall, Wes, and I (Jared) had been playing with a number of drummers, but nothing really felt like a good fit until we started playing with Jordan.  Once we solidified our line-up, we went into the studio with David Pavluk of the Downtown Fiction who produced our first EP, which came out about a year ago. We’ve definitely grown since we started, and it’s very obvious in our music. Our first EP was fun, and we’re very proud of it, but I wrote a lot of those songs while I was still in high school, so you can tell that my mind had a pretty narrow focus at that time. All the songs are pretty much about girls and teenage love, but our new music is a little bit more ambiguous, and will mean something different to each listener.
